Ron Barnett

Director of Music and Sacred Arts

Ron graduated from the University of Richmond, VA with a B.A. in Organ Performance and Religion. Prior to coming to Saint Mark's, he was for seven years Director of Music at Saint James', Lancaster, PA, the largest parish in the Diocese of Southeast Pennsylvania and resident musical director at the Fulton Theatre.

As a composer: Around the World in 80 Days (book and lyrics by Julianne Homokay), When Butter Churns to Gold (book by Peter Welkin, lyrics by Randi Wolfe), A Christmas Carol (book by Barry Kornhauser). Choral works have been published by GIA Publications (Chicago, IL) and MorningStar Music Publishers (St. Louis, MO).

Stephanie Oliver

Stephanie Oliver

Preschool Assistant Director

Stephanie was born and raised in Glendale. She graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts and a minor in art education and received her child development units from Glendale Community College. She has been a teacher at the preschool since 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Director in 2015. She and her husband Nathan, a television producer, have two children: Luke and Violet.

Julia Peacock

Preschool Director

Julia has been with Saint Mark’s Preschool since 2001, expertly handling all manner of things related to enrollment, scheduling and parent communication and relations. She was promoted to the position of Director in 2011. Julia and her husband James grew up in England and after marrying settled in the states. Julia received her undergraduate degree in history at Kingston University, a masters degree in history from London School of Economics, and child development units from UCLA and Cerro Coso College. She and James have three adult children: Tessa, George and Abigail.

Chey Widdop

Associate for Community Life

Chey has been a member since 2010 when she and her family moved to California from Memphis, Tennessee. She is responsible for the management of day-to-day parish activities including the general administration of the Parish Office, the running of church operations, including buildings, grounds, communications, events, projects, and stewardship endeavors, that support the life and ministry of Saint Mark’s. She is a former vestry member and Rector’s Warden. Chey has a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Memphis. She is married to Bill Widdop, a veterinarian, and together they have two adult children, Jane and Henry, and one four-legged kiddo: Nellie, the chiweenie.
